Online shopping paralysis is real. You’re staring at a Uniqlo size chart wondering: was it L or XL last time? You’ve been burned by fit inconsistencies across brands before, and you’re not about to repeat that mistake. FitVolt solves this by keeping a simple, personal record of how every brand fits your body.
I built this because I kept making the same size mistakes across different retailers. Every time I shopped online, I’d spiral into doubt about whether my usual size would actually work. I realized what I needed wasn’t a universal size chart—those exist everywhere—but a personal memory of my actual fit history with brands I actually buy from. So I created an app that does exactly that: remembers your sizes and fit preferences per brand, nothing more.
What It Does
- Brand Fit Cards — The app automatically summarizes your fit data by brand, showing your typical size and fit preference (slim, regular, or oversized) for tops, bottoms, outerwear, and shoes. Before you shop, open one brand card and you’re done.
- Detailed Clothing Records — Log each item with size, fit, sleeve or hem adjustments, fabric type, satisfaction rating, season worn, and post-wash durability notes (pilling, shrinkage, fading). You record only what matters to you.
- Size Chart OCR — Photograph a brand’s size chart and the app reads the numbers automatically. Recognition happens on your device, so photos never leave your phone.
- Outfit Diary — Save combinations that work well together. Track tops, bottoms, outerwear, shoes, notes, and satisfaction ratings for each outfit.
- Wardrobe Stats — See your clothing distribution and satisfaction scores by category, brand, and season. Discover which brands actually fit you best based on your own data.
- Local Storage Only — No sign-up, no servers. All your data lives on your device. Backup and restore features let you move to a new phone easily.
The app supports dark mode and works in both Korean and English.
