This policy explains what Reactiveworks Blog (reactiveworks.blog) collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. The site is operated by SiU Ahn (안시우), an independent developer in South Korea, who is the data controller for the purposes of this policy.
This policy covers this blog only. The apps written about here have their own privacy policies, linked from their store listings, and those govern anything the apps collect on your device.
1. What is collected
Server logs
The hosting provider records standard web-server data for every request: IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, referring page, and a timestamp. This is used to keep the site running, diagnose errors, and detect abuse. Logs are retained by the host for a limited period and are not used to build profiles of individual readers.
Comments
If you leave a comment, the name, email address, and any website address you enter are stored, along with your IP address and browser user-agent. The email address is not published; it is used to identify you as the commenter and to reply. Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely unless you ask for removal. WordPress may set cookies to remember your details for the next comment.
Direct contact
If you email me, the message and your address are kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to keep a record of the correspondence.
2. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site may use them for:
- Essential function — remembering comment details, and security features of the WordPress software.
- Advertising — set by third-party advertising vendors, described in the next section.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.
3. Advertising and third-party vendors
This site may display advertising served by third parties, including Google.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Vendors other than Google may also serve ads or measure their performance; their own privacy policies govern that activity.
I do not receive your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information from advertising vendors, and I do not pass any information you give me to them.
4. Analytics
Aggregate traffic measurement may be used to see which posts are read and where readers arrive from. Any such measurement is used in aggregate; it is not used to identify individual readers, and no analytics data is sold or shared for marketing purposes.
5. External links
Posts link to app store listings, documentation, and other sites. Once you follow a link, this policy no longer applies — the destination site’s own policy does. I have no control over what those sites collect.
6. Children
This site is written for developers and app users and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information here, contact me and it will be deleted.
7. Your rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what data about you is held here,
- correct anything inaccurate,
- delete your comments or your correspondence.
Send the request to the address below. I will act on it within a reasonable period, and there is no charge. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
8. Security and transfers
The site is served over HTTPS. Hosting and advertising providers operate servers outside South Korea, so data described above may be processed abroad. No storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and no absolute guarantee is offered.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised policy.
