If you’re a law student, exam taker, or legal professional in Korea, you know how tedious it is to flip through the Criminal Act looking for a specific article. I built a statute viewer that lets you search the entire Criminal Code instantly, bookmark your most-referenced articles, and even listen to sections read aloud. After launching on iOS, I’m now bringing it to Android users on Google Play.
I created this app because I kept running into the same problem: I needed quick, reliable access to the full text of Korea’s Criminal Act, and existing tools either were clunky, incomplete, or required constant internet access. As someone working in the legal space, I wanted something fast, offline-first, and designed specifically for how people actually study and reference statutes. So I built it for myself first, then realized it could help anyone preparing for the bar exam, law school admission test (LEET), civil service exams, or handling criminal matters.

- Reference Jumping — Tap any article reference in the text and jump directly to it. Navigate seamlessly between connected regulations without losing your place.
- Favorites and Inline Preview — Bookmark frequently referenced articles and view their full text right in your favorites list, no extra navigation needed.
- Text-to-Speech — Listen to articles read aloud in clear Korean. Play through your entire favorites list continuously, perfect for studying while commuting or when your eyes need a break.
- Dark Mode and Font Adjustment — Customize the reading experience with dark mode for nighttime study sessions and adjustable font sizes from small to extra large.
The app reflects Korea’s latest enacted laws based on official data from the National Law Information Center. You can check which enforcement dates and promulgation numbers are currently included in the app settings, and request updates if new legislation has passed. Everything runs offline—no registration, no login, no external servers. Your bookmarks and preferences stay on your device.
