Most quit-smoking apps work on an all-or-nothing principle: one slip-up and your streak resets to zero. That approach works for some people, but for most of us, it just breeds shame and abandonment. I built a different kind of tracker—one that measures progress in money saved, not perfect days.
The idea came from a simple insight: every cigarette you don’t smoke is money in your pocket. That’s tangible. That’s motivating in a way a number on a screen sometimes isn’t. So I created an app that converts reduced smoking into real savings, tracks your goals with actual timelines, and celebrates partial progress instead of punishing imperfection.
What It Does
- Savings piggy bank: Enter your baseline daily cigarette count and current cigarette price. Every cigarette you skip gets converted to savings in real time. Cut back instead of quitting cold turkey? That counts too—no resets, just accumulated progress.
- Reward goals with countdown: Set a purchase goal (headphones, a trip, whatever motivates you) and the app calculates when you’ll hit that target at your current savings rate. Watch your goal completion percentage climb.
- Two types of streaks: Track complete abstinence streaks separately from reduction streaks. One measures zero cigarettes; the other measures staying below your baseline. Both matter.
- Health timeline: A recovery milestone tracker based on WHO and CDC data, showing when your blood pressure stabilizes, when your lung function improves, and when long-term cancer risk begins to drop. It’s grounded in actual physiology.
- Weekly and monthly charts: See your smoking and savings trends graphed over time so you can spot patterns and celebrate downward momentum.
The app also includes daily reminder notifications (so you don’t forget to log), dark mode support, and full privacy by design—no sign-up required, no cloud accounts, everything stays on your device. If you need to move to a new phone, you can export and restore your data with a single backup file.
Who It’s For
This app is built for anyone trying to smoke less or quit entirely, especially people who’ve struggled with the perfectionism trap of traditional quit-smoking apps. It works well whether you’re aiming for complete abstinence or just cutting down. The app was originally developed in Korean but now supports both Korean and English, making it useful for Korean-speaking users worldwide as well as international audiences. If you’ve ever felt defeated by a reset streak, or if you respond better to incremental progress than all-or-nothing goals, this might be the tracker you’ve been looking for.
You can download it now on the App Store. The version 1.0 is stable and ready to use—no beta label, no caveats. Start small: log today’s cigarettes, set one goal that excites you, and watch your savings grow. The most realistic path to quitting isn’t perfection. It’s consistency, one day at a time.
