QuitSave Quit Smoking Tracker Now on Android

Most quit-smoking apps punish you for imperfection. One cigarette and your streak resets to zero. I built QuitSave because I wanted an app that rewarded any progress — one cigarette you didn’t smoke is money saved, and that counts.

QuitSave was previously available on iOS, and after months of refining the experience based on user feedback, I’m excited to bring it to Android today.

How It Works

The core idea is simple but powerful: reframe quitting from “how many days did I endure” to “how much money did I save.” You enter your baseline cigarettes per day and your pack price. Every cigarette you don’t smoke becomes real-time savings that fills up a jar on your home screen. If you smoke fewer than your baseline, you still save money — no resets, no guilt.

Key Features

  • Savings Jar: Watch your money accumulate in real-time based on unsmoked cigarettes. Log what you actually smoked today; cutting down still counts as savings.
  • Reward Goal D-day: Register something you want to buy with its price. QuitSave calculates your estimated achievement date based on your current savings pace, so you always know how close you are.
  • Two Kinds of Streaks: Track both smoke-free consecutive days and reduced-smoking days. Progress still counts even if it’s imperfect.
  • Health Recovery Timeline: Visual milestones based on WHO and CDC data show what your body recovers over time, from blood pressure stabilizing in 20 minutes to lung cancer risk halving in 10 years.
  • Weekly and Monthly Statistics: Charts show your cut-down trajectory so you can see patterns and stay motivated.
  • Daily Reminders: Local notifications at your chosen time keep logging on your radar. You’ll also get alerts when you hit milestones or reach your reward goal.
  • Privacy First: No sign-up, no account, no tracking. All your data stays on your device. You can back up and restore everything as a .zip file if you switch phones.

The app supports English and Korean, includes dark mode, and is designed for people who want to quit smoking but know the journey won’t be perfectly linear. If you smoke less today than yesterday, that’s a win. If you chain-smoked but logged it anyway and are planning to cut back tomorrow, that data matters too.

Who This Is For

QuitSave is for anyone serious about quitting or cutting back on smoking, but who’s also realistic about the process. If you’ve felt demoralized by all-or-nothing quit apps, or if you’re taking a gradual reduction approach, this app speaks your language. You don’t need perfection — you need consistency, and QuitSave shows you the real value of every cigarette you skip.

Ready to start? Download QuitSave on Google Play today and log your first unsmoked cigarette. Put it in the jar.
