SubsCount: Subscriptions Now on Android

You probably have more subscriptions than you can count. Netflix, Spotify, ChatGPT, cloud storage, YouTube Premium — each one feels small, but together they drain hundreds from your account every month. The worst part? You might not even use half of them anymore. SubsCount is the easiest way to see all your subscriptions in one place and figure out which ones are actually worth keeping.

I built SubsCount because I was tired of being surprised by my credit card bill every month. I’d sign up for a service, use it once or twice, then forget about it until I noticed the charge weeks later. I wanted something simple — no login, no account, no syncing headaches — that would just sit on my phone and help me stay on top of the bleeding.

The app was already available on iOS, and now I’m bringing it to Android so everyone can start plugging those subscription leaks.

What it does

  • See your total at a glance. Know exactly how much you’re spending each month and when the next charge hits. Yearly plans are automatically converted to a monthly figure so you see your real cost.
  • Get payment alerts three days early. SubsCount notifies you before a charge goes through, giving you time to decide whether to keep or cancel before the money leaves your account.
  • Add subscriptions in seconds. Choose from 20+ presets for streaming services, music apps, shopping platforms, AI tools, and more. No typing required — just tap and you’re done.
  • Spot what you’re not using. A bubble chart shows you what you pay versus how much you actually use each subscription. It’s a quick way to identify which services aren’t earning their keep.
  • Handle foreign subscriptions. If you’re paying for something in USD or another currency, the app converts it to your local currency so nothing hides in the total.
  • Keep your data private. Everything stays on your device. No server, no login, no account. Your subscription data never leaves your phone.

This app is for anyone who’s ever felt a jolt of guilt opening their bank statement. Whether you’re managing five subscriptions or fifty, whether you’re trying to save money or just curious about where it actually goes, SubsCount makes it simple to see the full picture without friction.
