ClimbLog Now on Android: Track Your Gym Sends

After a solid climbing session, can you remember exactly what you climbed? Most climbers can’t—especially when your gym uses its own color system and you’re thinking in reds and oranges, not V-grades. ClimbLog solves that by letting you log your climbing the way your gym actually grades it: by hold color, with real attempt and send counts.

The app was already available on iOS, and today I’m excited to bring it to Android users on Google Play.

I built ClimbLog because I kept losing track of my own training. I’d finish a gym session feeling strong, but by the next day, I couldn’t remember which colors I’d sent or how many attempts each took. My gym uses its own color ladder, and forcing that into a V-scale system felt wrong. I needed a simple, private log that matched how I actually think about climbing—session by session, color by color.

The result is a quiet solo log with no social pressure, no followers, and no ads trying to sell you premium features. Everything stays on your device.

What It Does

  • Log by gym color. Register your gyms, rebuild each one’s color-grade ladder (with optional V-grade hints), and even attach a photo of the actual grade chart. Track multiple gyms separately so your stats stay accurate whether you’re climbing at the local wall or traveling.
  • Count attempts and sends per color. Quick tap-to-log interface for attempts, sends, round trips, and one-way laps. A “repeat last session” shortcut instantly restarts yesterday’s setup—perfect for volume training days.
  • Include accessory work in the same session. Log pull-ups, dead hangs, push-ups, planks, and custom exercises with sets, reps, or time, all within one climbing session.
  • Watch your progress with stats. Weekly, monthly, and all-time charts show your session volume, sends per color, and personal records for accessory work. Filter by gym to focus on your favorite wall.
  • Set weekly goals and streaks. Track how many times per week you’re climbing and watch your consecutive-week streak grow on the home screen.

The app is completely private. No sign-up required—install and start logging immediately. All your data stays on your device, nothing is uploaded, and it works fully offline. Dark mode is built in, and the app supports both English and Korean.

Who It’s For

ClimbLog is built for climbers who think in gym colors rather than V-grades, who train by volume and round trips, and who want to remember exactly what they climbed without consulting a social feed or uploading their workouts to the cloud. If you visit the same gym regularly and want to track your sends by the actual colors they use, or if you climb at multiple gyms and need separate logs for each, this is for you. It’s also perfect if you pair your climbing with accessory work like pull-ups or dead hangs and want everything in one place.

ClimbLog version 1.0.1 is now available on Google Play. Download it, add your gym’s color ladder, and start keeping the sends from every gym day. Consistent logging builds your next send.

ClimbLog is a personal training log and is not affiliated with any climbing gym or organization.
