DishVerdict Now on Android: Food Delivery Log

Ever ordered from a restaurant and thought, “Wait, isn’t this the place that disappointed me last time?” You’re not alone. Delivery app ratings are inflated by review-event promotions, and your real experiences fade from memory. I built DishVerdict to fix that—a private ledger for your food delivery history that actually remembers what you thought about each place.

DishVerdict was already available on iOS, and today I’m bringing it to Android. If you’ve been waiting for an Android version, it’s here.

I built this because I kept repeating the same delivery mistakes. I’d open an app, see a 4.5-star restaurant, order from it, and be disappointed. Then a week later, I’d forget and do it again. Review events artificially inflate ratings, but they don’t capture real experience. I wanted a tool that let me log my honest verdicts in private, without sign-ups or judgment, and actually remember them next time.

The result is DishVerdict—stripped down, fast, and designed around how people actually order food. No restaurant diary bloat. Just a simple system: WHITE verdict means order again, BLACK means never again, NEUTRAL means it was fine.

What it does

  • OCR order capture: Screenshot your delivery order and DishVerdict reads the restaurant, date, price, and dishes automatically. No typing required.
  • Black/White verdict system: Rate restaurants with a single verdict visible on your list. No more wondering if you’ve already tried a place.
  • Per-dish ratings: The same restaurant can excel at one dish and fail at another. Rate each dish individually with a star score and quick note—build a playbook of what to order and what to avoid.
  • Review trust tracking: Mark whether an order was from a promotional review event or a genuine purchase. Stop getting fooled by inflated ratings.
  • Spending stats: Monthly totals, order counts, average order value, and breakdowns by platform and category. See your delivery habits at a glance.
  • Fully private and offline: Everything stays on your device. No sign-up, no server, no tracking. Export as JSON if you want to move to a new phone.

This app is for anyone who orders delivery regularly and wants to stop repeating mistakes. If you’ve ever been burned by inflated app ratings, want to track which restaurants actually deliver on their promises, or just want to see how much you’re spending on delivery each month, DishVerdict is built for you. It’s especially useful if you order from multiple delivery platforms but don’t want to maintain separate notes—everything is in one place, in your pocket, offline.
