Some days, words just don’t cut it. You know how you feel, but explaining it to the people around you feels exhausting or impossible. FeelSignal solves this by letting you turn an emotion into a wallpaper—a quiet visual signal that says what’s hard to speak out loud.
I built this because I noticed how often we hide what we’re really feeling, or spend energy explaining something that could be communicated in seconds. The app started as a personal journaling tool, but it evolved into something social: a way to let the people close to you read the room without a single word.

FeelSignal was first released on iOS last year. Today, I’m excited to bring it to Android users on Google Play—the app works the same way, with the same focus on simplicity and privacy.
How it works
- Pick an emotion — happy, tired, thankful, need-space, and many more. Set the intensity from a little to a lot.
- Choose a phrase — filtered by tone: soft, honest, short, cute, or tailored for a partner, friend, or family.
- Design it — customize colors, gradients, fonts, and a matching icon to make it yours.
- Save and share — set it as your lock screen, home screen, or save it to your gallery.
- Track your moods — every signal you create is logged. Browse a calendar of your feelings, see which emotions come up most, and notice patterns in when you feel them.

If design isn’t your thing, start from a ready-made template and customize it in seconds. Everything stays on your device—no account, no sign-up, no cloud. Your feelings are yours alone.

Who this is for
FeelSignal works best for people who want a faster, quieter way to communicate their emotional state. Whether you’re managing energy levels, processing stress, or just want to give people a heads-up about how you’re doing without having to explain it, this app gives you a visual language. It’s also useful as a simple mood journal—a way to look back and understand your emotional patterns over time.

FeelSignal is a personal expression and journaling tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, or crisis support. If you’re struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional or a local support line.
You can download FeelSignal now on Google Play. It’s free, works offline, and available in both light and dark themes.
