For the past year, I’ve been using this app to document every dish I cook—with photos of each step, notes on what worked and what didn’t, and a clear history of how the recipe evolved. It’s become the personal cookbook I wish I’d had years ago.
What it does
- Step-by-step documentation. Record ingredients with precise measurements and units, then attach photos to each cooking stage so you remember exactly what you did.
- Track the essentials. Note cooking time, difficulty level, and serving size alongside every recipe for quick reference.
- Recipe Lab—the core feature. Create variations of the same dish, document what changed (a pinch more red chili paste, different cooking temperature, whatever), rate the results, and watch your best version emerge over time.
- Cloud sync across devices. Log in with Google, Apple, or email. Your recipes and photos back up automatically, so switching phones or cooking on a tablet just works.
- Works offline. Recipes and photos cache locally, so you can read them in the kitchen without internet.
Who this is for
